MANILA IN FLOOD: Philippine Stock Exchange Closed, Suspend Classes, Government Offices

August 19, 2013 Disaster. It's happening again, Metro Manila the capital of the Philippines shut down due to massive or heavy rain for almost two days brought by Typhoon or Stom Maring hence, all schools both public and private in all levels classes were suspended, all goverment offices and even the Philippine Stock Exchanged has announced their suspension of operation in other words Philippine Stock Exchange is closed today. So this will surely affect the Philippine economy.

This is now a big challenge to President PNoy's government to do the right action to avoid massive flooding in Metro Manila, Makati and other parts of Luzon as well the nearby provinces. And of course this need the cooperation of all the citizens of the Republic of the Philippines. We have to protect our Mother Earth, our environment, let's stop spreading the garbage everywhere and stop cutting trees or illegal logging.

So what are we waiting for? Let's act now! Let's do our part to avoid or stop this problem. Let's not wait that more lives will be taken away because of flooding or let's not wait that our economy will shut down because of flooding.

So I hope that each and everyone of us will protect and will do the right thing for our Environment.
