The next big thing Operating System for SmartPhones and Tablets revealed it’s called Sailfish by Jolla Company. Yes it could be the next big rivals of Microsoft Windows Phone 8, Apple iPhone iOs, Samsung Androids and other smartphones or mobile operating system in 2013. It is a fresh, new operating system for Smartphones and in fact according to Helsinki and co-founder and chairman of the board Antti Saarnio of Jolla Company that they will soon release “world's best smartphone”in the middle of 2013 with of course Sailfish as the operating system.
What is Sailfish OS? Sailfish is a Linux-based mobile operating system developed by Jolla for use in its upcoming smartphones which was revealed yesterday, November 21, 2012. Sailfish is based on the MeeGo Linux and built on top of the Mer operating system core, which is a revival of the core of the MeeGo project of Nokia, Intel, and Linux Foundation among others. Sailfish includes a proprietary user interface that Jolla intends to use to differentiate its smartphones from others and as a competitive advantage against devices that run Google's Android or Apple's iOS.
