7.2 Earthquake Hit CARMEN, BOHOL Philippines (Damages Photos)
Philippines hit by a strong magnitude quake this Tuesday, October 15, 2013, a 7.4 Magnitude the center of strong quake occured in Carmen, Bohol this morning at around 8:12 am. Several provinces in Visayas were also affected, namely:Tagbilaran, nearby areas such as Inigaran, Negros Occidental (Intensity VI), Intensity V in Iloilo City; La Carlota; Intensity IV in Masbate City; Roxas City; San Jose, Culasi, Antique; Guihulngan, Negros Oriental; and Intensity III - Davao City.
This is so far the strongest quake that hit Bohol, so Phivolcs (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology) warned the people their in Bohol for after shocks. No casualties has been reported yet, but i do hope nobody got killed in that very strong quake. But according to Phivolcs damages to properties are expected.
Phivolcs did not raise Tsunami alert in those provinces mentioned especially on the center of the quake in Bohol. Though aftershocks are expected.
