The NBI identified the suspect for the killing of Kae Davantes as Samuel Decimo, he is 19 year old and he is a member of a holdup gang. He admitted that he is one of the 5 other suspects who killed Kae Davantes. He was caught by the NBI on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Here’s what the suspect Samuel Decimo said when he was interviewed:
Decimo said they were onboard a vehicle and spotted Davantes’ car with the intention to rob the driver. They followed then waylaid Davantes at knifepoint inside her subdivision in Las Piñas. The suspects then commandeered her vehicle and drove in the direction of Tagaytay.
Decimo said they decided to kill her after she recognized one of the suspects and the license plate of the suspects’ vehicle. The idea to burn Davantes’ car was made by one of his cohorts, Decimo said.
So this is a big move by the NBI to finally give Justice for the brutal killing of the victim Kae Davantes.
