The Political arena as well as the showbiz industry was surprised by the news about the engagement of Shalani Soleda to Rep. Roman Romulo.
Other people said finally, Shalani found the right guy. I'm pretty sure Rep. Roman Romulo is very happy to have Shalani to be his wife soon.
Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo plans to get in touch with fiancée Shalani Soledad’s father, Adolfo Aguirre, to ask for her hand in marriage anytime this week.
Mons Romulo, Rep. Roman’s sister revealed this to Yahoo! Philippines OMG! in a phone interview.
“Roman is very proper. Gusto muna niyang tanungin ang dad ni Shalani and he will make a formal announcement after that,” Mons said.
Shalani, she added, will be a welcome addition to the family.
“We all like her very much. Simple siya. Maganda, inside and out. Mahirap makakita ng babaeng ganyan. She knows politics too. Hindi siya magiging sagabal kay Roman. There are women na makikiagaw sa time,” explains Mons.
