Richards Adams Dead, Filipino Gay Advocate (Short Biography, Photos)

Richard Adams, The first Filipino in United States to promote Gay Marriage. He died on December 17, 2012 at the age of 65 in the Hollywood Home, his attorney Lavi Soloway confirmed the news. But who is Richard Adams? See more of his short bio below. 


Richard Adams was born in Manila, Philippines. But he grew up in Long Prairie, Minnesota. When their parents move to the US when he was 12 years old and he was granted a US citizenship in 1968. And from then on he became a Gay Marriage Advocate. He lives with his partner Anthony Corbett "Tony" Sullivan, an Australian citizen. The couple lives together for 43 years. They first met at a Los Angeles gay bar called "The Closet" in 1971.

Richard Adams cause of death was not discussed in details.
