Arnold Schwarzenegger bronze statues
The Terminator star and former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger commisioned a series of bronze statues of himself. According to reports, the statues are in "heroic" scale and are roughly one-and-a-quarter times life size (8 feet). The inspiration for the statues is the 22-inch sculpture created by artist Ralph Crawford in 1980. Oregon-based bronze-worker Tim Parks is pouring the metal for the larger pieces.
According to Parks, Arnold is keeping "one for himself" while another will be sent to the Schwarzenegger museum in Thal, Austria; a third statue will be purchased by Crawford.

It was reported that Mr. Whitfield died in the arms of his wife, Vashti, in Sidney, Australia.
Andy Whitfield played the famous Spartacus, the gladiator in the House of Batiatus, during the Roman Empire. The series was specifically tagged for adult viewing because of its gory and explicit scenes.

OS ANGELES - Actor Andy Whitfield, the former star of TV show "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," died on Sunday of lymphoma in Sydney, Australia, at age 39, his representatives said.
Whitfield played the indomitable hero Spartacus in the Starz network show when it launched last year.
The actor, whose other credits included the 2010 film "The Clinic" and the 2007 movie "Gabriel," had to step away from his role on "Spartacus" due to his illness, non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
"On a beautiful sunny Sydney... morning, surrounded by his family, in the arms of his loving wife, our beautiful young warrior Andy Whitfield lost his 18-month battle with lymphoma cancer," Vashti Whitfield, his wife, said in a statement.
Starz President and CEO Chris Albrecht said he was "deeply saddened" by Whitfield's loss.
